LeBron James finally put his hands in the Larry O’Brien trophy after four years. The King was chasing that elusive fourth title but was unable to win it until this year with the Los Angeles Lakers. Last Sunday, he finally did it and he had a clear message to the trophy that he didn’t lift since the 2016 magical campaign of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Footage surfaced showing LeBron having a few words with the trophy, saying it had cheated on him for the last four years.

After he led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 3-1 return in the 2016 NBA Finals, LeBron was close to winning the title for the next two years, with the Golden State Warriors smashing his dreams led by Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. They won the championship in 2017 and 2018 before the Toronto Raptors beat them in 2019, winning their first-ever NBA title.
That takes us to this point; LeBron is once again an NBA champion, increasing his legend in the league, leading a historical franchise back to the top of the association. As things stand now, he’ll probably put his hands in the trophy at least one more time. The Lakers are a very good team and James has created a big duo with Anthony Davis that makes their fans dream about one or two more titles in the next years.
