NBA Fan Jokes That LeBron James Said: ”The Private Jet Is Leaving On Sunday And I’m Going To Be On It. We’re Closing This Out On Friday.”

The Los Angeles Lakers bounced back in a big way by winning a hard-fought Game 4 vs. the Miami Heat, even despite the fact that they got Bam Adebayo back and that they led for most of the way.

LeBron James led all scorers and proved once again that he’s one of the greatest performers in the history of the NBA Finals. Now, the purple-and-gold are on the verge of tying the Boston Celtics as the winningest franchise ever with 17 titles.

That’s why Twitter user @chiapet74 claimed that The King made a statement claiming that they’re going to close the series out on Friday:

“LeBron: “The private jet is leaving on Sunday and I’m going to be on it. We’re closing this out on Friday,” Chia tweeted.

Obviously, just in case anything took his words seriously, Chia had to add another tweet clarifying that he was just joking and LeBron never said such thing.

“This is a joke, btw. LeBron didn’t really say this,” he added.

LeBron could have said those exact same words and nobody would have a problem with that. As a matter of fact, we’re sure that that’s exactly what’s going through his mind right now.

Then again, getting past Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat will be an uphill battle for the Lakers, especially if Goran Dragic is able to suit up for Game 5.

We already know how hard-working and resilient Erik Spoelstra’s team is and Jimmy Butler just isn’t going to go down without a fight, so the Lakers better work hard if they want to get in that plane with the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
