The Los Angeles Clippers had big aspirations for the 2020 season. With Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Lou Williams, Patrick Beverley, and a deep roster of talented vets and role-players, everybody knew it was Championship or bust for this crew.
So when they failed to reach the Conference Finals in a huge upset to Denver, somebody had to take the fall.
In the newest Wojbomb, it has been reported that head coach Doc Rivers and the Clips have parted ways.

Change was to be expected for the Clippers, but very few thought Doc would be the one to go. On Twitter, the reaction from fans was pure shock.

No word yet on if Doc was fired or if his departure was a mutually agreed-upon decision. Regardless, it’s huge news for the Clippers and shakes up the numerous coaching searches currently underway for many teams.
As for who they might bring to replace Doc, we have nothing on that front either, but we will be sure to keep you updated as more information becomes available.
