Mario Chalmers And JR Smith Say Michael Jordan Is The GOAT

Mario Chalmers and JR Smith, two players who shared touches with LeBron James in the Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers, respectively, have given their verdict on who the real GOAT is. Michael Jordan is without any hesitation the hottest topic to discuss in the NBA right now since his documentary, ‘The Last Dance’, premiered three weeks ago.

That has reignited the GOAT debates around the league, with more people siding with the Chicago Bulls legend instead of LeBron James, considered his greatest rival in that conversation. However, for Chalmers, who played with James from 2010 through 2014, there is nobody better than MJ.

Talking with Eurohoops, Mario said when asked about who the GOAT is between LeBron and MJ:

“He [Michael Jordan] is the GOAT, not even a question.”

Moreover, JR Smith expressed the same on Monday, when he described how a lot of NBA fans will feel after ‘The Last Dance’ is over. The current free agent called Jordan the GOAT while saying this was the last time we were going to see a documentary about him.

“Can’t lie kinda hard watching the last dance knowing this is the last time we gone see a doc of the GOAT!” he wrote on Twitter.

Can’t lie kinda hard watching the last dance knowing this is the last time we gone see a doc of the GOAT! 🤦🏾‍♂️

Game recognizes game and two former LeBron teammates picked Jordan as the GOAT of basketball, just like the majority of fans have done over the last 30 years.
