James Harden has been considered a ‘choker’ for his inability to get past the Golden State Warriors in the playoffs the last two years. The Beard faced the Warriors with Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry in the past three years, having great duels with them in the postseason, but always losing the series.

However, Harden has a good record against the Dubs, or at least, a better one than LeBron James. The King faced the KD-Steph Warriors in two consecutive NBA Finals and his record against them was just terrible.

LeBron has a 3-11 record against the KD-Steph Warriors, while Harden is 10-11 against Durantula and Chef Curry. In playoffs, Bron is 1-8 against those Dubs. He faced them in two straight NBA Finals, winning only one game in 2017, before getting swept the next year, where JR Smith starred one of the most bizarre moments in the history of the Finals, blowing the chance the Cavs had to beat the Warriors in Game 1 of the 2018 Finals.

Harden, on the other end, was close to leading his Houston Rockets against the Warriors in 2018. That team was great and they were actually 3-2 up in the WCF before Chris Paul went down with an injury and Kevin Durant take over the series to beat the Rockets, arguably the second-best team in the NBA that year.

Although Harden had a different fate than LeBron against Golden State, he managed to get more wins against Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry. Still, both players’ attempts to prevail over the Dubs were useless, as Golden State caught its second and third title after defeating them.
