Dion Waiters And Lou Williams Reveal Their Top 5 Best NBA Players Of All-Time

2 Min Read

The NBA is a star-driven league and not many other sports in history have as many recognizable names. From current athletes like Giannis, LeBron, and Steph Curry to old-school players like Jordan, Kobe, and Shaq, there is no shortage of stars to watch — and no shortage of icons to compare.

Dion Waiters and Lou Williams, who are spending their time at home amid the NBA’s hiatus, recently shared their own list of the best players in history, joining a long list of people who have shared their opinions online lately.

Waiters: “Who is your top five?”

Williams: “Ever?”

Waiters: “Ever.”

Williams: “My top five is A.I. — not no particular order — A.I., Shaq, MJ, LeBron, and Penny Hardaway.”

Waiters: “Mine is A.I., Bron, Shaq, Kobe, and KG.”

It should be noted that Williams ended up changing his list to include Kobe over Hardaway. But neither of them included Kareem or Magic, both of which are usually among the top three in most lists.

Additionally, it’s weird that Waiters put A.I. and KG over Michael Jordan, who is considered the GOAT by almost everyone within the community.

Obviously, their picks are extremely controversial and a lot of the fans spoke up about it in the comments.

KG over Kareem and Jordan? A.I. over Magic and Bird? Dion and Lou certainly know how to light a fire but something says they’ve got some good reasons for their pick.

Maybe one day they’ll explain it in more detail.
