DeMarcus Cousins is making waves in the world of 3×3 basketball in China. After a stellar career in the NBA and a brief stint in Taiwan’s T1 League, Cousins has brought his considerable talents to the fast-paced, intense world of 3×3 basketball, playing for the Chinese team Wuxi WenLv in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour.

Cousins has quickly made an impact, demonstrating his ability to dominate in this unique format. Known for his size, strength, and skill, the former NBA center has seamlessly adapted to the fast-paced, high-intensity game that is 3×3 basketball.

In a recent viral performance, Cousins showcased his brilliance, finishing a game with 13 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block on an incredible 10-for-11 shooting from the field. His stat line alone highlights his ability to take over both ends of the court, proving that despite the change in format, his basketball IQ and talent translate perfectly to this new challenge.

Since joining Wuxi WenLv, Cousins has demonstrated that his skills are tailor-made for the 3×3 game. His scoring ability and rebounding prowess have quickly set him apart from his competition. In 3×3 basketball, games are short, with a fast-paced style of play that requires constant movement, quick decision-making, and the ability to adapt to a variety of situations. Cousins, with his vast experience and versatility, has proven that he can still be a dominant force on the court, even in this abbreviated format.

Cousins made his debut for Wuxi WenLv in the Super3 Quest tournament on the 3×3 World Tour in China, where he immediately made his presence felt. In his first game, despite a narrow 21-20 loss to Ningbo Haishu Jieying, Cousins carried his team, scoring 13 of their 20 points. His performance was a testament to his ability to put the team on his back and perform under pressure.

In subsequent games, Cousins continued to shine. Wuxi WenLv secured a 20-10 victory in their second match, with Cousins contributing 6 points. His ability to contribute not only as a scorer but also as a playmaker and defender has been pivotal in his team’s success. Despite the team being eliminated in the quarterfinals of the tournament, Cousins’ performances have left a lasting impression on the 3×3 basketball scene.

DeMarcus Cousins‘ foray into 3×3 basketball has been a resounding success, with his ability to dominate the game making him one of the standout players in the tournament. His size, skill, and adaptability have translated well into the 3×3 format, and fans of the sport can expect to see more highlights from the former NBA star in future competitions.

As Cousins continues to shine in this new chapter of his basketball career, it’s clear that he’s found a new avenue to showcase his talent, reminding the world that he remains a force to be reckoned with on the court.
