Dwight Howard Reveals His Pre-Game Meal: “McDonald’s Before The Game, Two Double Cheese Burgers, A Large Fries, A Small Fries, Strawberry Chocolate Milkshake…”

Unlike Russell Westbrook or Tom Brady who prefer PB&Js or smoothies as their pre-game meal, Dwight Howard prefers some royal junk food, and by his own admission, it’s worked for him.

Speaking to Graham Bensinger, “My routine one season was McDonald’s before every game,” Howard said. “I would get two double cheeseburgers, a large fry, a small fry, a strawberry-chocolate milkshake, and a large coke.”

Candy was on his list as well as the former Lakers big man confesses that he would eat around 12 candy bars every day.

“We would get tootsie rolls, lollypops, Skittles, Starbursts, Twix, Snickers, every candy you could think of. It was like a gas station at my house!”

And amid all the fast food, Howard has managed to keep himself in incredible shape. He may not be in the league anymore, but anyone who sees him knows he’s still got the game and the athleticism, even if it’s from mowing down on burgers and fries.

Venezuelan Basketball Teams Have Their Sights Set On Dwight Howard

Howard’s recent exploits with the Taoyuan Leopards, the T1 League team has other teams looking to add him to their ranks.

Per Cancha Latina, reports of the Venezuelan team, Guaros de Lara interested in acquiring his Howard emerged earlier this year.

At the time of writing, there isn’t much to follow up on about how much the franchise will acquire him for. The outlet added that he might be offered more than what the Leopards had to offer.

The eight-time All-Star and three-time Defensive Player of the Year has proved that he still has what it takes to contribute to the teams in the NBA, but with the league evolving by the day, there have been doubts over whether he could sustain himself, to adapt quickly in the modern-day version.

But there’s no doubt that Howard will still be a force if he gets a chance to play again. There will be a team or two looking to add him after looking at his recent run.
