The Cleveland Cavaliers drafted LeBron James with the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, and it was a dream come true for the franchise. Right off the bat, LeBron became a fan favorite and arguably the best player on the team.

But apart from James, the Cavs still had decent players such as Carlos Boozer and Dajuan Wagner. Although LeBron James is still playing in the league, Boozer and Wagner have already retired. Anyway, one thing that the three former teammates have in common is the fact that their sons will feature in this spring’s All-American games.

Bronny James, Dajuan Wagner Jr., and Cameron Boozer are all projected to be first-round picks in the future. Bronny recently became a five-star recruit and is projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. Wagner Jr. is also expected to be a lottery pick in the same draft class.

As for Cameron Boozer, he is currently touted as the number one overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft class. Fans will have a chance at seeing all three prospects play at this spring’s All-American games.

Cameron Boozer Named 2023 Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player Of The Year

Carlos Boozer was the 35th overall pick in the 2002 NBA Draft. Although he became an NBA All-Star later in his career, he wasn’t expected to reach such heights in the league.

However, his son, Cameron Boozer, is already the number one prospect in the country. Cameron further solidified his status as the future number-one overall pick by winning the 2023 Gatorade National Boys Basketball Player of the Year.

Cameron earned this honor for leading the Explorers to Florida’s Class 7A state championship this past season. He averaged a stunning 21.1 PPG, 11.2 RPG, 4.2 APG, 2.0 BPG, and 1.3 SPG during the season.

Keeping that in mind, it’s no surprise that Boozer is currently ESPN’s top draft prospect for the class of 2025.
