Superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the best players in the world, and there’s no doubt that he’s been extremely dominant this season. The Milwaukee Bucks are the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference, and it is clear that Antetokounmpo has been highly impactful.

Even though he is clearly a superstar-level player, many believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo isn’t as talented or as skilled as some of his superstar peers. Recently, Antetokounmpo agreed with that notion but added that he’s “desperate” and “obsessed” with working hard to keep the life he has made for himself as an NBA player.

“Why I’m here is because I’m desperate,” Antetokounmpo claimed. “I’m not as talented as Steph. I’m not as talented as KD. I’m f*****g desperate. I’m obsessed. I’m scared to lose what God has given me and the life that I’ve provided for my kids and my brothers and for my mom, you know? I’m scared. So I f*****g work as hard as I can because I don’t want to lose this s**t.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Wants To Be Remembered For His Work Ethic As A Player

There is no doubt that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be remembered for what he has accomplished on the court. However, the star has also stated that he wants to be remembered for his “work ethic” and his “attitude toward the game”.

“I’m not done. I believe I have a long way to go. I try to work on my craft every single day. I want people to remember me not for the things I’ve accomplished on the court but for my attitude toward the game and my work ethic. I want people to remember me as more than just a basketball player. I want people to remember how I made people feel along this journey and if I inspired them to be better.”

Throughout his career, Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown that he exemplifies dedication, hard work, and the love of the game. He has shown that he wants to be great, and he simply has to continue winning championships to continue building his NBA resume.
