Kyrie Irving is perhaps the most challenging player in the NBA to evaluate over the last few seasons. While the Brooklyn Nets point guard still has all the skills that have made him a superstar, his situation is far from simple. Since his return from suspension, Irving has been balling out once again, but it’s hard to tell if that will continue.

Kyrie hasn’t courted any more controversy since the latest debacle, although he does occasionally share cryptic messages on social media. Irving’s last 7 games for the Nets since his return have seen him average 27 points, over 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. More importantly, 6 have been wins for the resurgent Brooklyn Nets. But despite this, Kyrie isn’t being ranked too highly by those watching, much to the chagrin of certain fans.

NBA Fans Had A Lot To Say About Kyrie Irving Being Ranked 66th By The Ringer

Most publications that cover the NBA release their own sets of rankings regularly. This includes everything from the MVP race to a general list of the Top 10, 25, 50, and even 100 players active in the NBA. And The Ringer recently released theirs, with Kyrie Irving being ranked 66th. While his off-court problems are an issue, Irving is as impactful as any player in the league, and fans were quick to point that out.

The Ringer says Kyrie Irving is the 66th best player in the NBA.

“Kyrie is a permanent Top 25 player until he retire… The disrespect is crazy.”

“Man, even I don’t agree with a lot of Kyrie’s antics, but ain’t no way he 66.”

“The Ringer obviously have reasons outside of basketball to rate him this low.”

“No chance in hell. Name 20 players better than Kyrie.”

“He the most hated player in the league officially now.”

“Y’all have to be joking with this, man.”

“Kyrie Irving is easily Top 20, you don’t know ball if you think otherwise.”

“Kyrie has had his issues the past few season sure but if you really think there’s 66 players in the league better than him you’re smoking something.”

“Name 65 players right now, smh the disrespect.”

“Y’all taking all this nonsense way too far.”

“If we’re talkig ball, Kyrie is easily Top 20. Go debate a wall.”

Kyrie Irving has missed time again this season, and it’s been significant, but his problems off the court haven’t affected his ability. He’s had 32 points or more in 3 of his last 4 games, and looks like he’ll be able to carry this on moving forward, considering his priorities. This is the season for Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets to prove everyone wrong if they want to.
