Not the ones to shy away from taking a dig at Skip Bayless, both the analysts had their own fun take on the incident.

Trust Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley to have some fun when they share the screen on TNT’s ‘Inside the NBA’, and this time the duo took a shot at an incident between Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless.

For those unaware, Sharpe had a bit of a go at Bayless when the latter took a shot at the former tight end while talking about Tom Brady and his struggles in the ongoing NFL season.

The QB and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a rather inconsistent run and are 6-7 following their humiliating 35-7 loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Speaking on ‘Undisputed’, Bayless poked Sharpe:

“Brady’s still playing at a high level at 45 when you had to stop at 35, that’s the point.”

To which Sharpe replied:

“That’s what you do. Every time I call something into question, I’m jealous. Skip, I did what I did. You make it seem like I was a bum. I’m in the effing Hall of Fame. I’ve got three Super Bowls.”

“See what you do, you take personal shots. You’re willing to take a personal shot at me to say this man is better than me because I say he’s playing bad this year? … You would disrespect me to support him.”

Safe to say, the 54-year-old was not in agreement with Bayless’ words, although the two did ensure things didn’t escalate any further. This isn’t the first time Bayless has supported Brady and taken shots at other athletes.

Not the ones to shy away from taking a dig at Bayless, both the former NBA stars had their own fun take on the incident.

The show saw Charles Barkley dare the former Los Angeles Lakers big man to “smack him in the head” and just when things thought it would get worse, the two made fun of the other two instead.

“Disrespect me again, Skip Bayless,” O’Neal said.

“Insult me again,” Barkley responded by putting his glasses on and off the way Sharpe did during their show.

“Put your glasses back on,” O’Neal yelled.

This was followed by a good bit of laughter from both analysts. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Barkley had a shot at Bayless given their history. All things considered, it was some good fun at the expense of the ‘Undisputed’ host, that made some good content for the TNT show.
