The Milwaukee Bucks have proven that they are easily one of the most consistent franchises in the modern NBA. The Bucks have been contending for an NBA Championship for half a decade and have a title in their trophy cabinet that they won in 2021. However, a win is not as straightforward anymore.

The Bucks have decidedly been the second-best team in the Eastern Conference this season, behind the Boston Celtics. However, Giannis Antetokounmpo is still playing like an MVP and they may have a reinforcement offering his services to them.

Former Buck and cult legend, Brandon Jennings has said that he is ready to lace his boots up on Twitter and help someone in the NBA with backup guard play if he has 2-3 weeks to get into NBA shape.

The Bucks rely on George Hill to provide backup guard play, but he isn’t a crucial member of the rotation given Jrue Holiday’s importance. A scoring spark can never hurt, but we can’t really rely on Jennings in 2022 to be a bench scorer than many of the other players that are still free agents.

What Do The Bucks Need To Win A Title?

The Milwaukee Bucks have entered a period of stagnancy with their roster, with a relatively solid supporting cast that has been fine-tuned to accentuate Giannis’ play style. There are shooters and reliable defenders all around the court for him.

The team is as solid defensively as any in the NBA, so maybe they can add a few younger bodies on the bench that can provide energy. Rookie MarJon Beauchamp has provided that through the regular season, but getting an upgrade over the young star for this playoff run might be the best move for Milwaukee.
