Kevin Durant Says He Is Now A Rams Fan Because Decobie Durant Is On The Team: “Somehow, This Is My Cousin.”

The Los Angeles Rams won the Superbowl in 2022, and there’s no doubt that they will be one of the favorites to win it again in 2023. They have a good combination of offense and defense that is required to win at the highest level in American football.

It seems as though the Rams have gained a prominent fan in NBA circles. Kevin Durant has recently claimed that he is now a Rams fan when reacting to an image of cornerback Decobie Durant. Kevin Durant jokingly stated that “somehow this is my cousin” when referring to the cornerback.

Somehow this is my cousin. Ima rams fan now https://t.co/55tmW7YESH

Kevin Durant is known to be a fan of football in general, and he has previously stated that he could probably play in the NFL. Durant stated that he could be a wide receiver, and it’d definitely be interesting to see what he’d be able to do in a different sport. Obviously, he clearly chose the right career path playing basketball, but perhaps Kevin Durant would have some success playing football.

I could play football. I could be a wideout at least.

There’s wideouts out there that’s 6 feet, 170 pounts… all go routes.

This summer, there has been a lot of media attention on Kevin Durant due to his trade request. The Brooklyn Nets have resisted moving the superstar thus far, and it is clear that the team is holding out for the best possible package, no matter where it comes from. It was recently reported that Kevin Durant sees the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers as “desired landing spots”, and both teams can put together appealing packages to land him.

Hopefully, Kevin Durant ends up on a contending team, whether he remains on the Brooklyn Nets or otherwise. He is still a player that is capable of being a No. 1 option on a championship-caliber team, but we’ll have to wait to see whether his future situation is suitable for winning at the highest level.
