NBA Fan Roasts Los Angeles Clippers While Using Jennifer Lopez’s Ring Comparison

The Los Angeles Clippers are getting ready to face a complex 2022/23 NBA season, where they are considered one of the strongest teams to beat the Golden State Warriors. The Clips have been trying to catch up with the elite of the league, but they haven’t been lucky enough to get past the Western Conference Finals.

Waiting to see what’s going to happen next season, Clippers Nation is excited with the return of Kawhi Leonard and the addition of John Wall to the roster. This team has a big chance to make history next year, but meanwhile, people are making fun of them for being ringless.

Before Draymond Green savagely roasted them at the 2022 ESPYS, one NBA fan took to Twitter to compare the Clippers’ trajectory to singer and actress Jennifer Lopez. JLo has received six rings since 1997, which is the same as Michael Jordan and six more than the Clippers.

One fan took notice of this and roasted the Californian team, putting JLo over them in this category.

Rings since 1973

Jennifer Lopez: 6

Clippers: 0

Of course, other fans joined this trolling, going off and laughing at the Clippers. Others even remembered LeBron James and Michael Jordan’s championships.

The Clippers will have a big opportunity to change their history next season. They have one of the deepest rosters in the league and a great coach in Tyronn Lue. If their Big 3 performs as expected, they could win the championship next year. It’s still early to say how they will fare next season, but on paper, they look like a dangerous team to the rest of the league.

This is only speculation, but even Draymond Green believes the Clips are the biggest threat for the Warriors this upcoming season.
