The NBA has a lot of talent currently, and there are many teams in the league that have amassed a good number of promising young players on their rosters. Those are the teams that will dominate in the future, once the current generation of NBA stars gets older.

Bleacher Report recently shared a Tweet featuring a number of teams that have a young core, ranked in order of which young core is the best. The Tweet sparked a lot of debate from NBA fans, with many people giving arguments as to why each given young core is the best.

There is no doubt that a lot of the teams on the list have very promising futures. However, many people noted that the Boston Celtics were underrated, as they are ranked No. 4 fresh off a Finals trip. They have two premier wings in Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, and the Celtics look like they could be dominant in the Eastern Conference for a long time. Other people pointed out that the Golden State Warriors weren’t included in this list, despite having an elite young core that has multiple lottery prospects, such as James Wiseman.

It remains to be seen which team or teams end up winning championships in the future. Things can also change quickly in the NBA, and there’s no guarantee that all of these young cores will stay together. Teams often have to make tough decisions on which young players to pay, and that can often force a member of a young core to go to another team to get his payday.

Hopefully, we see all of these young teams find some degree of success in the future. Obviously, not all of these teams will win championships, but they could all potentially be great playoff teams in the near future.
