NBA Fans Debate Who Are The 3 Best Shooting Guards Of All Time: “Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade. No Debate.”

The NBA is one of the most selective and demanding team sports in the world. You only have 5 players on a team and they have to run the length of the court and constantly turn from one direction to the other every time the ball is going the other way. As a result, the five positions on the court are defined by the skill-sets that players have.

The shooting guard makes up the back-court next to the point guard, who runs the offense. Shooting guards are usually versatile wings that can perform on both ends of the ball. They can be magnetic scorers and elite defenders but are a little undersized to run the small forward position outright.

When it comes to the greatest shooting guards in NBA history, the top three on the list have been very clear for years. Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Dwyane Wade have resumes that no other players to have played in that position can touch, something fans agree with.

Great player but not as complete as the other 3

A lot of you are showing that you don’t know basketball players’ positions.

The biggest argument coming from this list was the placement of Dwyane Wade over James Harden. Harden had a few phenomenal seasons where he led the league in scoring, became a perennial MVP candidate and won one, and led a groundbreaking offense with Mike D’Antoni and the Houston Rockets,

While Harden’s box score stats may jump out off the page, Wade was a certified winner. He led his team to a championship in 2006 as a 23-year-old and then was the ideal second star in Miami behind LeBron James to win two more titles. D-Wade is also arguably the best shot-blocking guard in NBA history, as his defense was amongst the best in the league.

While the NBA has seen plenty of amazing two guards like Harden, Allen Iverson, Ray Allen, Clyde Drexler, Reggie Miller, and others, none of them compare to this trio of legendary guards.
