Jimmy Butler has had an insanely good playoff run with the Miami Heat this season, and he’s showing why he should be considered a superstar. Thus far, Jimmy Butler has averaged 29.8 PPG, 7.7 RPG, and 5.4 APG in the playoffs.

NBA analyst Skip Bayless has lauded Jimmy Butler after he managed to lead the Miami Heat to a victory over the Boston Celtics, claiming that he’s the “best player left in the playoffs”. Jimmy Butler had a ridiculous 41-point performance for the Heat, and it is easy to see why Skip Bayless holds the opinion he does.

I'LL SAY IT AGAIN: JIMMY BUTLER IS THE BEST PLAYER LEFT IN THE PLAYOFFS … AND HE WAS EASILY THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FLOOR TONIGHT.

I’LL SAY IT AGAIN: JIMMY BUTLER IS THE BEST PLAYER LEFT IN THE PLAYOFFS … AND HE WAS EASILY THE BEST PLAYER ON THE FLOOR TONIGHT.

The Miami Heat winning Game 1 has put them one step closer to getting to the NBA Finals. A lot of people have picked the Celtics to win the series, but it seems as though that didn’t phase Jimmy Butler. Ahead of Game 1, Butler claimed that the Heat were “gonna come out on top” in the series, and it seems as though he is trying to personally make sure that happens.

“I think everybody’s looking forward to it,” Butler said about the upcoming series. “And what I love about this team the most is that nobody is paying attention to what anybody else picks because we know that we can win. Those are guys I want to go to war with. We’re gonna fight, and we’re gonna come out on top.”

Obviously, this Eastern Conference Finals series is going to be a long and physical one and there’s no doubt that the Boston Celtics could still end up winning. They definitely have the talent to do so when fully healthy.

With that being said, it is quite obvious that the Miami Heat could end up winning it if Jimmy Butler continues playing like this. He is arguably the best player in the series, and he’ll definitely do his best to bring them to the promised land.
