“I told Slick, I don’t play him in 2K anymore because he doesn’t have the competitive nature to care when he loses. That’s why we never play 2K anymore,” said Edwards. “I’m like bruh, you gotta get some juice. You gotta don’t like to lose. I don’t like that about him and I don’t play 2K like that that’s what really pisses me off about it. And he plays 2K all day, 24/7 like MyPlayer, exhibition, he does that. So if I beat you, you should be f**king pissed bruh. And I beat him and then I’ll just go upstairs and he won’t say anything about it.”
Edwards, 23, is quickly rising the ranks of NBA stardom. This season, his fourth in the league, he’s averaging 27.6 points (career high), 5.8 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game on 43.9% shooting. With elite athleticism, natural leadership abilities, and unmatched skills with the ball, Edwards has all the tools he needs to become the next face of the NBA, whether he wants it or not.
Arguably the best part of Edwards’ game is his relentless competitive spirit. The guy wants to win at all costs and he clearly hates to lose, but it’s not exclusive to the court.

Unfortunately, Edwards doesn’t have the team success to match his amazing skills. Despite tweaking the roster several times over the years the Timberwolves have yet to have their breakout season.
