LeBron James has been the one true highlight for the Lakers over their latest run. Despite losing 4 of their 5 games, James is the only Laker who has continuously played at a high level and done everything in his power to make sure that the Lakers win their games, even though it hasn’t yielded results.

But James can find one silver lining during this run, one that came during the Lakers’ latest defeat against the Indiana Pacers. During the game, James notched 30 points and 12 rebounds, the latter of which pushed him to 10,000 career rebounds. Because of this, James has become the first and only player in NBA history to have 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds, and 9,000 assists across his career.

James has been setting many personal milestones and records during this season. Over this year, James became the youngest player to reach 36,000 career points. On top of that, he is the only player in NBA history to be top 10 in points, assists, and even steals.

Despite this incredible milestone, James will be unhappy with the way he and the Lakers have been playing. As mentioned above, the Lakers have lost 4 of their last 5 games, and are looking in real trouble when it comes to playoff contention. Despite this poor run of form, the Lakers reportedly have no plans to replace Frank Vogel.

Stephen A. Smith has suggested that the Lakers will be making changes to the roster ahead of the trade deadline recently. But there isn’t much expectation when it comes to Russell Westbrook leaving, primarily because the trade market for Westbrook is practically non-existent.

But on top of that, James was reportedly a big proponent for bringing in Westbrook. James clearly has faith in Westbrook. What new players will the Lakers bring in this season? That remains to be seen, but there is no doubt that James will have a big say in any moves they make.
