Bruce Brown and the rest of the Denver Nuggets traveled to Las Vegas to celebrate their brand-new 2023 NBA championship.

The team was having a very good time in Sin City, but things appeared to have gotten out of control. Bruce Brown took to Instagram Live to call out Jokic for getting him drunk and hungover (via Harrison Wind).

“I’m down bad, and I blame Nikola Jokic.”

“I don’t know how I let him get me this drunk.”

“I don’t know what he had me drinking last night, but I blame it on 15.”

Bruce Brown was one of the most important players for the Nuggets during this championship run, becoming a key piece throughout the postseason. He was crucial during the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat, even dropping 21 in Game 4 to give his team the 3-1 lead in the series.

Brown averaged 11.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in five games, becoming the X-factor for his squad. After his impressive season, the future may be out of Denver, as Brown earned a big contract this summer.

However, everybody in Mile High City wants him to run it back, but that decision will be made later this offseason.

Nikola Jokic Was Turning It Up In Las Vegas

Meanwhile, he’s learning the tough lesson of how it is to party with Nikola Jokic and see how the player celebrates. Jokic changed his mind about the championship parade and now is getting his teammates drunk while partying at one of the best and most exciting cities in the world.

The Serbian big man is probably used to drinking rakija, and whatever he was having last night had no effect on him. Brown, on the other side, couldn’t keep up with the two-time NBA MVP’s drinking talents.

The Nuggets have a bright future after winning the 2023 NBA championship, and hopefully, this situation doesn’t ruin their chemistry.
