Playoff season is almost upon us, NBA fans, which means Charles Barkley is ready to hand out guarantees with his predictions.

The first one of the season is already here, with Chuck guaranteeing that the Sacramento Kings would beat the Los Angeles Lakers or Golden State Warriors in the first round.

“The Sacramento Kings are going to win a playoff series. GUARANTEED. They’re gonna be playing the Warriors or the Lakers and that’s a tough first-round series. They’re gonna win a series.”

The likeliest opponent for the Kings are the Warriors, who are currently the 6th seed. The Lakers could climb up, but that depends on them winning their last 2 games and the Kings beating the Warriors tonight. GSW are one game ahead of the Lakers in the standings, but the Lakers have the season tiebreaker over the Warriors.

Are The Kings Ready For The Playoffs?

The Sacramento Kings ended a 16-year wait for postseason action, solidifying themselves as one of the top teams in the West. De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis have turned out to be a terrific duo, and this very well-coached Kings team is not looking to roll over for any opponents in the playoffs.

The Lakers and Warriors do have bigger names and more playoff experience, but it won’t be easy for either team to beat the Kings. Draymond Green from the Warriors has already openly said he wants to face Sacramento in the first round as a result.

Fox is averaging 25.2 points, 6.2 assists, and 4.2 rebounds this season, and Sabonis is averaging 19.2 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. Both players made the All-Star team and are a unique duo with distinct skill sets that have been highlighted by fantastic outside shooting on this Kings roster by players like Malik Monk, Kevin Huerter, Keegan Murray, and more.
