Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox has performed on an extremely high level this season. He is one of the fastest players in the league, an elite slasher, and has developed a reputation as a clutch performer.

One of De’Aaron Fox’s more underrated attributes is his ability to be available for his team. In fact, a recent Reddit post by a fan revealed that he has played more minutes than New Orleans Pelicans stars Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram combined.

De’Aaron Fox has played more minutes (1840) than Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram (1764) combined this season.

There’s no doubt that this is a crazy statistic, and it is clear that De’Aaron Fox’s availability has been absolutely impressive. The first step for any player is simply being available for their team, especially in the load management era of basketball.

De’Aaron Fox has averaged 25.3 PPG, 4.3 RPG, and 6.2 APG for the Sacramento Kings this season. They are currently 34-25 and 3rd in the Western Conference, and they have a very good chance of breaking their longtime playoff drought

De’Aaron Fox Isn’t Afraid Of Any Team

Recently, De’Aaron Fox spoke out after the Sacramento Kings beat the Los Angeles Clippers, claiming that he doesn’t care who he faces. He noted that there is a lot of talent in the league, adding that he worries about the Kings first in any matchup.

“I don’t give a f**k who’s over there,” Fox stated. He further went on to say, “It doesn’t matter… you see the league, the talent in this league, there are a lot of talented teams, obviously, he added talent to this team, but we come in we worried about us.”

There is no doubt that the key for any team is to focus on its game plan, rather than worrying about the opposing team’s talent. In the modern era, there are a lot of talented players on every single team, as most teams have at least one or two players who are All-Stars, All-Star level, or have All-Star potential.

It’ll be interesting to see who the Sacramento Kings end up facing in the playoffs. Though it will be their first playoff series in a while, they are the 3rd seed in the Western Conference for a reason, and should not be underestimated. Hopefully, we see them make a deep run, and they definitely have the talent to do so.
