Kevin Garnett Reveals His Ideal Starting Lineup: Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Kevin Garnett, And Wilt Chamberlain

NBA legends have been more open about their favorite players and teams in recent times. Fans always want to know their preferences to debate or support their selections. Whenever one former or current player talks about hypothetical scenarios or teams, it draws a lot of attention.

Kobe Bryant once excluded himself from the Lakers’ all-time starting lineup; Paul George picked Kobe over Michael Jordan on his starting five, and coaches like Doc Rivers revealed their version, too. Even we have an All-Time high school players lineup, so you know this is pretty common around the NBA.

Recently, Kevin Garnett revealed his ideal all-time lineup, which included himself and four other legends that would scare whoever is in front of them. KG went with Magic Johnson at point guard, Kobe Bryant at shooting guard, Kevin Durant at small forward, himself at power forward, closing it out with Wilt Chamberlain at the five.

Garnett explains he respects Michael Jordan a lot, naming him the GOAT, but still picking Kobe at the two. He also mentioned Allen Iverson, but wanted his team be a tall one. Therefore, he put himself at the 4, topping it off with KD and Wilt Chamberlain.

That is a tall lineup, but none of these players lack talent and can actually defend 1 through 5. Garnett even said they will switch on everybody on the defensive end, making things hard for their rivals.

Even though he didn’t add Michael Jordan or LeBron James, this squad is great. The Big Ticket knew what he was doing and came up with a offensively talented, tall and pretty capable on defense team.

KG always boasted huge confidence and this time isn’t the exception. And, to be honest, it’s hard to not like this team.
