LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers suffered a big loss against the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of their Western Conference Finals, finding themselves in a complex situation that looks impossible to overcome.

The Nuggets made another statement and took the third win of the series at Crypto.com Arena, with Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic showing the way for their team. After the game was over, James didn’t mince words to praise the Nuggets players, but he forgot to mention Jokic (1:34 mark).

“Obviously Jamal [Murray] was fantastic in the first half today. He got them off to a great start… I think it’s been the timely shots by their role players. I’ve seen KCP [Kentavious Caldwell-Pope], Michael Porter Jr., Bruce Brown, even Jeff [Green] hit a big-time shot today. I think it’s been their supporting cast that’s kind of made those timely shots and allow them to kind of have that edge,” James stated.

It’s unclear why he didn’t do it, but LeBron didn’t mention Nikola Jokic. The four-time NBA champion has a privileged memory, and it’s odd to see him overlook Jokic just like that.

He didn’t score as many points as Jamal Murray, but Jokic played a great game, making the plays, calling them, and impacting the game in more ways than on the scoreboard.

Now the Nuggets are set to finish the job this Monday, but the Lakers will try to ruin their plans. No team has ever returned from an 0-3 deficit, and the Lakers have never won a single game after being in this position.

It’ll take a lot to beat these Nuggets, but LeBron is ready to face any challenge.

Nikola Jokic Says Nuggets Are Used To Being Overlooked By The Rest Of The NBA

Nikola Jokic has revealed he’s gotten used to being ignored, just like the rest of his team. This doesn’t make any difference to the Nuggets, who are focused on completing the job and winning the rest of the games they need to win to get the NBA championship.

The Lakers are ready to challenge and beat the odds, but not even the most enthusiastic fan thinks they can actually pull this off. The Nuggets are on the verge of making it to the Finals for the first time, becoming the greatest generation in the team’s history.
