During his post-game press conference, LeBron James was asked about whether the opportunity to come down from 3-0 down to win the Western Conference Finals is a thought that has crossed his mind. In scary fashion, LeBron responded “Of course. That’s the only mindset for me.”

LeBron James has shown in the past that he can come back from a big deficit. In 2016, LeBron James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to the NBA Championship after being down 3-1 against the Golden State Warriors. Being down 3-0 is arguably even more daunting, as the Lakers have to win every game going forward.

Over the course of this playoff run, LeBron James has been playing well, averaging 23.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game. But it is clear that he is no longer the player he once was, as he has been deferring to Anthony Davis to lead the team on both ends of the court.
