LeBron James reflected on his scintillating 20-year run in the NBA after the Los Angeles Lakers kept their playoff hopes alive by pipping the Utah Jazz 128-117.

Taking to Instagram after the win, “My last regular season game in year 20 was fun fun fun!!!! To be continue folks! Love,” the veteran wrote.

It has been a massive campaign for the Lakers, who were 0-5 at the start of the season. Injuries, inconsistencies, and a fruitful trade deadline later, they finished their regular season with a 43-39 record — good enough to finish seventh in a packed Western Conference.

James was instrumental in the Lakers’ 82nd game, pouring in 36 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists. He saw ample support from the rest of the team, all chipping in with two-digit figures to help LA finish their campaign on a high.

The Los Angeles Lakers Book A Date With The Minnesota Timberwolves In The Play-In

The win against the Jazz pits the Lakers against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the play-in. The latter edged out the New Orleans Pelicans 113-108 to finish eighth with a 42-40 record.

The Wolves’ run wasn’t without drama, with a skirmish between Rudy Gobert and Kyle Anderson. Jaden McDaniels was a victim of his own fury after he punched a wall on his way to the locker room, and is now set to miss the play-in.

On the other hand, the Lakers have been one of the more improved sides winning 18 of their last 26 games. LeBron James has been going strong and has been known to activate his playoff switch. Should Anthony Davis remain healthy, the superstar duo, fitted with the right players, will have no problems vaulting over Minnesota.

It will be a buoyed Lakers vs. a smarting Wolves unit. Only time will tell if LA can make another deeper run in the playoffs, but before that, they will need to close out the wolfpack.
