• LeBron James has finally started using social media again after his son Bronny James’ cardiac arrest

• He shared a picture of himself with his wife and three children in a message of strength

• Bronny has been discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home

LeBron James is dealing with his son’s unexpected medical situation one day at a time, as his world was turned upside down when Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing with the USC Trojans on Monday.

With positive news coming out about Bronny’s status, currently recovering at home, James first issued a tweet to his supporters and then shared a picture on Instagram of himself with his wife Savannah and children Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri, along with a brown heart emoji.

The picture is from the 2023 ESPYs where the James family presented LeBron with an award for becoming the all-time leading scorer in league history. Bronny’s health is priority number one for the family, as he hopes to resume his basketball career this season.

Bronny James Sidelined From The Court

With the immediate danger around Bronny’s situation passing, the conversation is quickly shifting toward his basketball future. Until we know what exactly Bronny is dealing with, there can be no assumptions about his status of playing basketball again. His teammate at USC suffered a similar situation last season and eventually returned to the court, so there is some optimism here.

Bronny was expected to be a first-round pick in the 2024 NBA Draft and fulfill LeBron’s long-standing wish of sharing an NBA court with his son. Those hopes may not be dashed but it does look like a more challenging prospect given Bronny’s health. We have seen bad things happen when cardiac patients take the court, so the priority should be Bronny’s health before we think of his career.
