  • LeBron James has spoken publicly for the first time since Bronny James’ cardiac arrest
  • The King has confirmed that everyone is healthy and the family is doing well
  • LeBron James says he will reveal more when the family feels ready

LeBron James and the James Gang had to deal with a horrible situation earlier in the week when it was revealed that Bronny James suffered a cardiac arrest while practicing at USC.

He was reported to be in stable condition, but not much more was known about his situation. The NBA world came together to show their support for LeBron James and his family. And now the King has revealed that everything is fine while thanking the fans.

“I want to thank the countless people sending my family love and prayers,” James wrote in a tweet. “We feel you and I’m so grateful. Everyone doing great. We have our family together, safe and healthy, and we feel your love.

“Will have more to say when we’re ready but I wanted to tell everyone how much your support has meant to all of us!”

Bronny James has been with USC only a short while after declaring that he would play there during his college tenure. There isn’t much information available about whether he will be able to resume his career, but that isn’t the main focus at the moment. What matters is that LeBron James and his family are safe, healthy, and feeling good.

A Cardiac Specialist Was Optimistic About Bronny James’ Recovery

Basketball games and all the debates that ensue are secondary when someone’s health and life are in question, and fans simply want to know what Bronny’s recovery will look like. Amid all the speculation, a cardiac specialist shared why they are feeling optimistic about the situation.

“The fact that Bronny’s already out of the ICU means he’s recovering quickly, I would anticipate that over the near term in the next day, two or three he should be walking around. If his brain function is normal, he shouldn’t need to be in the hospital for more than a couple of days. But the big question about a return to play depends on what we find out is the cause.”

Now that Bronny James is okay, questions will invariably follow about what comes next. But as LeBron James says, all that information will be passed along when they are feeling ready. The hope is that Bronny will continue to only feel better.
