The Los Angeles Lakers won Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals against the Golden State Warriors.

The final score was 117-112 in favor of the Lakers, but it could have easily gone in the other direction. Stephen Curry and the Warriors went on a 14-0 run and tied the game at 112-112. Speaking of the insane run, LeBron James once again flaunted his unbelievable memory when he recalled every shot that the Lakers missed during the run.

“We just missed some shots,” James said. “I can think about four or five shots. AR had a shot from the left wing. Missed it. I had a fadeaway jumper in the paint. Missed it. I was able to hit AD on a cut, one of his patent jump hooks. He missed it. Got the offensive rebound. Missed it again. They lost it around their sideline and gave us another extra possession. D’Lo had a wide-open three opposite of their bench. Sometimes you just miss shots. We executed to perfection, we just didn’t make shots.”

LeBron James has many skills in his arsenal, but his memory is a God-given talent. There are many examples of James’ insane memory.

Having such a brilliant memory helps LeBron in assessing the game at a great level, and of course, he uses it to fix his mistakes.

LeBron James Wants The Lakers To Be Even Better In Game 2 vs. The Warriors

The Lakers may have won the first game of the series vs. the Warriors, but it wasn’t a decisive victory by LeBron James and co.

They blew a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter and could have very well lost the game. Keeping that in mind, LeBron James is aware of the fact that the Lakers need to be better in Game 2 of the series.

“They made a huge run at the end of the game being down 10, but we got stops and made some free throws,” James said. “We got the most important stops and was able to close out, but they ain’t gonna stop, and we have to be even better for Game 2.”

Sure, the Lakers have a 1-0 lead as of now, but the Warriors are not a team to be taken lightly. After all, they are the defending champions of the league and can easily make a comeback in the series.
