Draymond Green went on an explosive tirade about Dillon Brooks on his podcast, saying the Memphis Grizzlies will not win a championship as long as they have him on the roster.

Fans were shocked to see such an aggressive response from Green toward a rival, reacting to the same on Twitter.

A fan agreed with Draymond on the Grizz needing to get rid of Brooks, “Draymond speaking facts. 38.7% shooter not leading you to a championship lol.”

Another fan criticized Green for acting too tough, “Draymond always acts so tough like he the number 1 option lol. When Steph and Klay were hurt, you led your team to the number 2 pick. Mr. Triple Single. If you put Green on the Pistons, no one would mention him.”

Fans also mocked Dillon Brooks’ shooting, “Dillon Brooks for 3.”

Both Brooks and Green were roasted by one fan, “We really got a rivalry between two dudes that are gonna have triple singles next time they see each other lmao.”

One fan joked about Brooks having to play in China next, “Dillon Brooks in 2 more years.”

One fan shared Klay Thompson’s earlier interaction with the Grizz when he called them b***h asses.

Another fan called both players average, “They having a mid-off.”

The rivalry between the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies has been one of the highlights of the last 2 seasons. Though the Grizzlies have a better record in the West, their success compared to the Warriors will only be judged in the playoffs.

Brooks has made many enemies in the league this season, with even the likes of Donovan Mitchell criticizing Brooks and the way he plays. Nobody else has matched Green’s tone, which was extremely critical of Brooks.

Have The Rivalry Scales Been Turned?

The Warriors have consistently been treating the Grizzlies like their younger brother. However, this season the Grizzlies have shown they can generate more success. Even with Ja Morant’s temporary hiatus, the Grizz may have enough to stay ahead of the Warriors till the end of the year.

Green and the Warriors still hold the upper hand and their jewelry speaks for itself. Klay Thompson‘s earlier interaction with the Grizz this season shows there’s no love lost between him and Dillon Brooks either. Thompson also doesn’t like Jaren Jackson Jr

If the Warriors want to remain the big kids on the block, they’re going to have to outperform the Grizzlies when it matters most. They could be opponents in the first-round dependent on how the rest of the season plays out. If that ends up being the case, it’ll be extremely interesting to see who emerges victorious.
