One of the fans felt it was a tragedy.

One of the fans felt a curse had befallen Durant.

Wishes for a quick recovery weren’t far away.

The concerns were real though. “Still nothing confirmed, but “left in a boot” sounds significant, and the sprain itself looked rough,” a tweet read.

“Welp….I’d be happy if he is back in time for the Playoffs. Holding their spot while keeping the minutes down for CP3 is going to be difficult,” another opined.

Per The Arizona Republic’s Greg Moore, Durant’s sprain could also see him miss out on the start of the playoffs. It remains to be seen how the developments pan out in the days to come.

The Phoenix Suns Stars’ Health Will Be In Focus Going Forward

The Suns may be one tough outfit in the West, but their job is far from done. They added Durant with the belief that they could finally get their hands on an elusive NBA title, but that now may have taken a hit after his latest injury.

It isn’t just the forward’s health that’s been of concern. The team’s other stars, Devin Booker and Chris Paul have dealt with injuries over the course of this season, and the hope in the camp would be that the other three big names stay healthy as Durant recovers.

Booker and Durant have been the primary big guns for Phoenix, with the latter starting off brilliantly averaging 26.7 points, 7.3 boards, and 3.7 assists in his three games for his new team so far. With his injury, the spotlight will be on how the other members of the team fare while also managing to stay injury-free.
