When we talk about Michael Jordan, the discussion is generally centered around his time as a player with the Chicago Bulls. However, it seems as though some recent news about him as an owner of the Charlotte Hornets created a lot of discussion among fans.

It was reported that Michael Jordan is in serious talks to sell a majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets. A lot of fans reacted to the news, and responses were mixed. Some criticized Jordan’s tenure with the team, for example.

Others, however, were unhappy about the news.

Some praised Jordan for selling, as he will have a lot to gain from a financial standpoint.

There is no doubt that there are both positives and negatives from Michael Jordan potentially selling a majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets franchise. He would certainly make a lot of money from this deal but would end up losing out on owning a team. He would also still be a minority owner of the Hornets, so perhaps he would still be involved with the franchise in some manner.

It will be interesting to how this situation develops. It is possible that the deal will still end up falling through due to unforeseen circumstances. However, there have been rumors about Jordan potentially selling the Hornets even last year, and we’ll see what ends up happening in the future.

Michael Jordan And Charles Barkley Ended Their Friendship Over Barkley’s Criticism Of Jordan Running The Hornets

Michael Jordan has frequently been criticized by people for how he runs his franchise. In fact, one of those people was Charles Barkley, who revealed that his criticism was the reason his friendship ended with Michael Jordan.

“I think probably, me and Michael were best friends, that’s probably the most prominent thing,” Barkley said during a recent conversation with Tom Brady and Jim Gray. “Michael Jordan, losing his friendship was probably the most prominent thing that’s happened to me. But I was being honest about what I thought. I said, ‘Listen, the toughest thing about Michael, he’s got to put better people around him.’ Because the toughest thing, when you’re famous, they’re on your private jet, you’re buying all the drinks, you’re buying all the dinners. Very few people are gonna be honest with you.”

There is no doubt that this is an unfortunate situation. Though Michael Jordan may have ended his friendship with Charles Barkley over the criticism he received, perhaps they could rekindle that friendship once he sells the team.
