Trae Young is still one of the most exciting players in the entire NBA, but after two tumultuous seasons with the Atlanta Hawks, his future might not be as clear as it once was.

After another season where the Hawks failed to make another deep playoff run and also parted ways with Nate McMillan, who allegedly had beef with Young, the player has been under criticism. With many rumors about him, fans don’t hesitate to make assumptions about Trae.

After he was spotted courtside at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. Golden State Warriors Game 6 earlier this week, many fans went crazy and started talking about Young’s presence at Crypto.com Arena.

While the majority showed their excitement for a potential Young arrival.

Others didn’t like this idea and simply said they were fine without him.

Someone even dared to propose a package to get Young in the offseason.

The Lakers are already great after making a series of moves around the trade deadline. They have created a solid squad, and adding Trae to the mix would take them to the next level. However, the cost of that operation would disrupt what they’ve built this season, and we already know what happened the last time they went for a superstar point guard to team up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

Trae Young’s Future With Hawks Remains Uncertain

After the Hawks signed Quin Snyder as their head coach, things changed for the team. They even made it to the playoffs and were eliminated by the Boston Celtics in six games.

However, Trae believes Snyder is the answer for the Hawks and even claimed that the head coach could bring a championship to Atlanta. Of course, this is a big claim considering how the Hawks’ past two seasons have ended, but they showed interesting things with Snyder, and that could be the start of something good.

Trae isn’t bothered by the trade rumors, but there are teams that will certainly get a lot better with him on the lineup.
