James Harden Confirms He Is Done With The Rockets: “I Don’t Think It’s Something That Can Be Fixed.”

It has been weeks since news of James Harden’s trade request went public. And while keeping up with all the rumors and speculation has been nearly exhausting, the Beard has yet to actually be traded.

Up to now, it seems the Rockets were holding on top hope that they might be able to convince their star to stay and test out the new roster.

But after a 3-6 start to the season, it seems like James has had enough. Here’s what he said in a post-game interview on Tuesday:

“I love this city. I’ve literally done everything I can. This situation is crazy. I don’t think it can be fixed. Thanks.”

Interestingly enough, John Wall followed those words with some of his own, which may or may not be a jab at Harden:

No matter anyone’s opinions on the matter, it’s pretty clear that things are starting to get ugly — and probably past the point of no return.

If Houston continues to struggle, we can probably expect a trade in the near future. There really is no point in delaying the inevitable any longer.
