The Miami Heat aren’t having the best 2022-23 NBA season, struggling to get things going, watching how all the teams that couldn’t take that No. 1 spot away from them last season got better and are looking like serious candidates to win the NBA championship this year.

The Heat didn’t make any move that could take them to the next level, but they’re still confident that things can work out in their favor. Having a star like Jimmy Butler alongside one of the best bigs in the league like Bam Adebayo appeared to be enough to compete in the East, but this season things have been different for the Heat.

Even though they are getting better in recent times, the Heat don’t seem like they will compete for the title this campaign. Still, Jimmy Butler remains confident in his chances to win it all with the Floridian squad.

Jimmy Butler Says He’s Not Leaving The Miami Heat, Will Win A Title With Bam Adebayo And Tyler Herro

In a recent interview with UPROXX, Butler talked about his future with the team and what he thinks is the ceiling for them. Jimmy is never shy of sharing his opinion, and this time claimed he’s ready to win the championship with Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro.

“Honestly, I see a lot of myself when you talk about the career path and trajectory of everything,” Butler said. “They’ve figured it out. They realized that they belong in this league. They’re constantly proving that they belong in this league. Not only that, they’ve gotten better every single year, and they’re gonna continue to get better every single year. And before you know it, we’re all going to end up winning a championship together because I don’t plan on going anywhere. Tyler doesn’t plan on going anywhere. Bam doesn’t plan on going anywhere, so we’re gonna have to figure it out.”

The Heat have shown over and over again that they can go back to the top and fight for championships, but they haven’t won anything since 2013 when LeBron James was still a part of the team. They looked ready to compete again this season, but things have changed.

The only good thing is that Butler isn’t going anywhere, and if they make the right moves, we could see Miami fighting for important stuff again.
