Josh Hart Replies To Twitter Troll Saying Brandon Ingram Carries Him With Meme Picture: “That’s My Dawg.”

Josh Hart isn’t a star, but he is a fantastic role player that has a fairly versatile game. He is a very good rebounder for his size and has some interior finishing and playmaking ability. He has had a great year thus far for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Earlier today, Josh Hart took to Twitter to express his support for his teammate Brandon Ingram’s All-Star candidacy. Like on a lot of Twitter posts by celebrities, there were some trolls, one of whom told Hart that Ingram “carries” him.

There are definitely NBA players who would have simply ignored the Tweet or talked back at the troll. However, Josh Hart had a fairly humorous response to the Tweet. Hart quoted the original Tweet with an edited image of Brandon Ingram literally carrying him in his arms, and stated: “that’s my dawg”.

While Brandon Ingram does have some solid players like Josh Hart and Jonas Valanciunas surrounding him, it is clear that the team has struggled without Zion Williamson. Despite that, Brandon Ingram has had a solid individual year as the No. 1 option for the New Orleans Pelicans, putting up 23.8 PPG, 6.3 RPG, and 5.0 APG, while showing that he is one of the best forwards in the game. It is definitely fair to say that he takes on a heavy load for the New Orleans Pelicans.

The New Orleans Pelicans have made progress since the start of the season, as they have recently won 4 in a row, and 9 of their last 15 games. They obviously haven’t been the same team without Zion Williamson. Williamson is still recovering from his foot surgery, though he has recently taken an injection to boost the foot’s healing. They could definitely be a play-in team if Zion Williamson returns this year, but they obviously have a huge deficit to climb out of. Hopefully, Brandon Ingram is able to keep the ship afloat while his co-star recovers.
