Kendrick Perkins has gotten used to voicing his opinion about anything in recent times. There is nothing wrong with that, but the former player-turned-analyst is always making bold claims and comparing players while sharing his opinions. The most famous case is the GOAT debate between Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Perk is always defending Bron and attacking Jordan, but this time he took a different direction.

Perkins took to Twitter to compare the current NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis, stating that AD was 'more skilled and versatile' than the Milwaukee Bucks superstar. He posted a picture of both players that reads 'who you got?', commenting:

"I believe Giannis is Hell of Player but I’m Rolling with Anthony Marshon Davis Jr.!!!! He’s more Skilled and Versatile in my opinion," he wrote.

It's unclear if this is some sort of trick to make look Giannis as a lesser player than LeBron. He's been the biggest favorite to win the 2020 NBA MVP, but James has been gaining informal votes since the NBA suspended the season.

Perk might be right with his claims, but that doesn't change the fact that Antetokounmpo took his team to the top of the league, having the best record in the entire NBA and posting great numbers playing only 30 minutes per contest.

The Greek Freak and AD belong to the elite of the league. They're top 10 players in the league right now, but there is no doubt that Giannis did enough to get his second consecutive MVP award.

Davis is averaging 26.7 points, 9.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game for the Lakers. Giannis has posted 29.6 points, 13.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game.
