LaMelo Ball, Anthony Edwards, Cam Reddish And Kevin Knox All Believe Kevin Durant Is The GOAT

3 Min Read

Kevin Durant is one of the greatest scorers of all time and one of the best players to step foot on an NBA court. KD has inspired the younger generations of players and proof of that is how many young players are picking him as the greatest player of all time. This is starting to be more common now and four of the best prospects in the league have picked KD as the greatest of all time now.

LaMelo Ball, expected to be a top 5 pick in the upcoming NBA draft, recently joined ESPN’s ‘Jalen & Jacoby‘ to discuss a variety of topics, including the GOAT debate. He said he grew up watching LeBron James and that would be his pick, but hearing stories from his dad and watching Jordan’s videos, he could pick MJ, too.

However, he took to Twitter and claimed that without statistics, he would go with Kevin Durant as the greatest player of all time.

Anthony Edwards, another potential top pick in the 2020 NBA draft, also picked KD as the greatest to ever do it.

“He is 7 feet and can do everything a point guard can do,” Edwards said in an interview with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks earlier this year. “He makes people miserable when they guard him.”

Cam Reddish revealed KD was his childhood idol during a conversation with GQ Sports last year (1:49 minute mark).

Kevin Knox of the New York Knicks also shared his thoughts on the GOAT debate, picking the 2x NBA champion during an interview with Complex in 2018.

Greatest basketball player of all time?
Me.

Oh yeah?
Me and Kevin Durant.

Where does Michael Jordan fall?
Kevin Durant first, then LeBron James, then Michael Jordan.

You’re at the top of all of them though, right?
Yeah, for sure.

KD is making an impression with the young generations. He will definitely end his career as one of the best to ever do it, but some people think calling him the GOAT is a little too much.
