LeBron James Says Kyle Kuzma Will Take ‘Giant Leap’ This Season

2 Min Read

Kyle Kuzma is coming from an NBA season where he received a lot of criticism from the Los Angeles Lakers fans. Kuz didn’t play well, that is true, and when the Lakers landed in the bubble, the forward’s level was just bad. That earned him a lot of bad comments and even though he’s fired back at critics, Kuz is still seen as a liability for the Lakers.

Well, not for LeBron James, who has big hopes for Kuz in this next campaign. Bron took to Twitter to express what player he believes is going to take a leap this next season and he gave some props to his teammate.

The Lakers are ready to run it back after winning the 2020 NBA championship in the bubble. Anthony Davis and LeBron James did a terrific job with the purple and gold but now it’s time to see what Kuzma can do for his team. He was expected to have a good season last year but nothing happened with him.

Now he’s ready to change his own narrative and LeBron is confident the player can do it. Last year, his production for the team decreased, recording 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in 61 matches with the Lakers. It’s time to step up and Kuzma is well aware of that.
