LeBron James was fired up when he played the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday night, individually doing everything he could to try and ensure a victory for the Los Angeles Lakers but the rest of his team couldn’t keep up and the Grizzlies pulled away after a point during the clash.

King James got into it with Desmond Bane, who was talking trash to him, giving it back to him, and telling the Grizzlies players that they were done talking trash to him. During the game, Bane made a basket and then had some choice words for LeBron, who wasn’t having it. James lightly shoved him in retaliation and a heated exchange ensued with the other Grizzlies also getting involved.

LeBron’s words were discerned and shared on Instagram, and it’s very clear that the Lakers superstar wasn’t impressed with the way his opponents were behaving at all.

“This y’alls last time dawg, this y’alls last f***ing time, this y’alls last time disrespecting. I’m not chillin’. You ain’t hooping, you’re talking s**t. This the last motherf***ing time imma say it. You start making a couple shots, then you start talking s**t. F*** that, I don’t play that shit.”

LeBron followed it up by going down the floor and dunking on top of Jaren Jackson Jr.’s head but despite him having a chip on his shoulder, he couldn’t ensure a victory for the Lakers. The Grizzlies ended up winning 127-119 with Desmond Bane recording a team-high 23 points for his team.

The Grizzlies have several youngsters on their squad, Bane is just 23 while Jaren Jackson Jr. is just 22. Beating the Lakers in the fashion they did was likely a major confidence boost for the team but LeBron James is the last player anyone should want to anger on the basketball court. The two teams won’t be facing one another again in the regular season but this is the sort of thing King James will likely remember for whenever they do end up clashing next.
