Luka Doncic On Mavericks Improvements For Next Season: “That’s A Question You Should Ask The Guys That Make Decisions, Right? I’m Just A Player Here… I’m Very Proud Of This Team.”

Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks have recently lost to the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 7 in a heartbreaking fashion. They held a 2-0 lead in the series, as well as a 3-2 lead, but failed to capitalize on the opportunity despite Luka Doncic going nuclear throughout the 7 games.

It is clear that there has to be some improvement with this team, as they have a long way to go. The Dallas Mavericks were eliminated in the first round both this season and the last. When asked about what the Dallas Mavericks need to do to improve, Luka Doncic had this to say.

What improvements do Mavs need to make? Doncic: : "That's a question you should ask the guys that make decisions, right? I'm just a player here. But we will give everything to play great. We give everything, I'm very proud of this team. Obviously I hate losing. We hate losing."

It seems as though that Luka Doncic is leaving potential team improvements to Mark Cuban and the front office. The Dallas Mavericks have some decisions to make this offseason. While the loss is obviously heartbreaking for Luka Doncic and his team, there is something to be said about Luka Doncic’s ability to even make this a competitive series, considering the talent gulf between the two rosters. Hopefully, we are able to see Luka Doncic win a series soon, as he is one of the most exciting young prospects in the league.
