Regardless of their playing position, there are many amazing players in the NBA at this moment. Even among them, the guard position is full of breathtaking talents around the league.

Speaking of such talents, one cannot leave out Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, and Trae Young. The three superstars are still pretty young but have already started to gather huge attention from fans all around the globe.

Doncic is the cornerstone of the Dallas Mavericks and he is one day expected to become one of the faces of the league. He certainly has the talent for it. On top of that, he has an incredibly likable personality, which helps him a lot.

Next up is Trae Young, who entered the league alongside Luka and has already established himself as one of the most prolific scorers of this generation. With Young at the helm, the Atlanta Hawks went to the Eastern Conference Finals last season and will hope to win an NBA Championship in the future.

Last but not least is Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant. Morant is without a doubt the most athletic out of the three players and he is not shy in showing off his bounce during games. Apart from that, Morant has a great ability to score at will and make life hard for opponents.

But what if fans were asked to rank these players from worst to best? Well, Twitter account “Hoop Central” had this idea recently.

Rank them 1-3. pic.twitter.com/WO2rHh9nhF

As anyone would have guessed, many fans decided to pour in their thoughts about the order in which these players should be ranked. Here are some of the best comments on the tweet by Hoop Central.

Tyler herro better than all 3

Ja
Trae

Y'all being biased af
Luka
Trae
Ja
It's the only correct order, you can argue ja>trae now just bc he's been ballin this szn but dont forget what Luka and Trae were doing in the PO. pic.twitter.com/8TTQP04vNm

How they playing this year, or who is the best player? Because those are two different things.

This season:
Ja, Trae, Luka

Best player:
Luka, Ja, Trae or Luka, Trae, Ja
I could see either way.

— SnowBaller (@5now13aller) January 16, 2022

If I put Trae last will I be called a hater 😬

Luka
Ja
Trae

Luka has been kind of iffy for parts of this seasons though, so if you were to rank either of them ahead of him I wouldn’t be mad about it.

— Knicks Region (@knicksregion) January 16, 2022

Anyone who doesn't put luka at #1 doesn't know shit about basketball that's my answer

— Todd Bowles puts me in pain (@Cowrex) January 17, 2022

Tough choice between Luka and Trae at #2 but if you have anyone other than Ja at one you’re wrong

— Lior (@LiorLampert1) January 16, 2022

Considering this season, Luka has been sidelined with injury and health & safety protocols, it seems like many have forgotten how good of a player he is. Moreover, despite not playing as many games as the other two stars, Doncic is still making sure that the Mavs are in the playoffs race.

At the end of the day, there will never be a definitive answer for this debate. Each fan will have their own reasons for putting either of the players above one another. Once the playoffs start, it will be much easier to rank the players though.
