NBA Rumors: Mike Budenholzer Could Lose His Job If Bucks Get Eliminated By Brooklyn

The Milwaukee Bucks have a 2x MVP on their roster and hardly anything to show for it.

Giannis, who is just beginning the prime of his career, has already committed to staying long-term in Milwaukee, and many believed 2021 could be the year they finally go all the way.

But through the first 3 games of Round 2, against the Brooklyn Nets, several concerning game strategies, and back-to-back blowouts, is causing some concern within the Bucks community.

If the team fails to get past Brooklyn this year, it could cost coach Bud his job.

“Mike Budenholzer came into this season knowing his future as head coach was tied into how deep of a run he made in the playoffs with this team.

Certainly, his future rides on how the Nucks respond to Brooklyn in this series.”

To Milwaukee’s credit, they were able to squeeze out a win in Game 3, officially avoiding a sweep and further embarrassment.

Still, with a guy as good as Giannis on their crew, and a supporting cast that is the best it’s been in years, their expectation is to beat this team and secure a ticket to the Conference Finals.

Anything short of that goal, and coach Budenholzer may be given the boot.
