Stephen Curry Says Seth Curry Plays The Best Defense Against Him: “Honestly, My Brother, Because He Knows My Game So Well.”

Stephen Curry is a very difficult player to guard. Because of his immense skill and incredible play, Curry is virtually impossible to stop on the court. Very few players have been able to successfully guard Stephen Curry successfully. But which players does Stephen Curry think have guarded him the best?

In his recent appearance on GQ Sports’ undercover series, Curry was asked which player played the best defense on him. Curry instantly pointed to his brother Seth Curry, mostly because he gets caught up in the pride he feels seeing his brother playing in the NBA. And he also mentioned Tony Allen and Avery Bradley as two other players who have played strict defense against him (0:27 mark).

“Honestly, my brother, because he knows my game so well, and there’s always that kind of vibe of him disarming me when I’m out there cause I feel like I’m so proud to see my brother out there on the court. I kinda get lost in that moment. But outside of Seth, I’d probably say Tony Allen or Avery Bradley.”

Curry’s picking Seth is slightly surprising, as Seth isn’t renowned for his defensive skills. Much like his brother, Seth Curry is considered a sniper when it comes to shooting, and his smaller stature doesn’t lend to his defensive prowess. But no one will know how to guard Curry better than his brother.

Tony Allen and Avery Bradley, on the other hand, are two players who know how to play defense well.

Seth will probably have an advantage playing against Stephen Curry, given that the two probably played against each other for almost their entire lives. The duo grew up together and watched their father play in the NBA, and probably wanted to play basketball when they grew up.
