Trae Young set the NBA world on fire when he made one of the most disrespectful moves on the Milwaukee Bucks. During the 3rd quarter of the game, the guard was alone on his island. Since nobody was guarding him, he took his time, did a shimmy, and shot the ball.

He made the 3-pointer, starring in one of the most savage plays in the entire postseason. The sequence sparked plenty of reactions around the league. Even LeBron James had something to say about it.

Everybody wanted to know what led Trae to make that move since the Bucks fans weren’t as hostile as the Knicks or Sixers’. Young explained that he was just tired, he took his time to shoot the ball, and it all came out natural.

“I had a lot of time,” Young said after the game. “I was kind of tired, a little bit. So I got a little second to get a deep breath and knock it down.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t like that move, and as soon as he went to the bench, he replicated the shimmy.

Following the game, the 2x NBA player also talked about it. He made it clear that it’s nothing personal since Young is only enjoying the game.

“He’s just having fun. He’s enjoying the game,” Antetokounmpo said, via Sporting News. “Obviously I wouldn’t want him to make the shot, but he’s having fun. He’s enjoying the game. We’re going to do the same as a team. We’re going to have fun. We’re going to enjoy the game. There’s going to be times that Bryn [Forbes] or Jrue might shimmy or whatever the case might be. I might mean mug.

“It’s just part of the game. It’s nothing. You can’t take that personally.”

When you score 48 points, you must be feeling yourself, and that’s exactly what Young showed. This man is having fun on the court; he’s torching people every night, leading his team to have a magical postseason run.
