Nia Long became a very famous name around the league for the wrong reasons. Initially, she was Ime Udoka’s fiancée and a very good actress, but things fell apart during the 2022 NBA offseason.

The Udoka scandal with a Boston Celtics female staffer made headlines during the entire summer, and Nia was the one reading and hearing all the comments about this situation. She had to make some hard decisions and handled everything like a champion, even refusing to answer questions from reporters and always keeping her cool in public.

She’s no longer with Udoka after this terrible situation and has already moved on from that. So much so that she’s working and enjoying herself, spending time with friends, and smiling when she’s around her people.

Nia Long Looks Really Happy In Video With Friends

A recent video shared by fellow actress Sanaa Lathan shows Regina Hall and Melissa De Sousa all smiling and happy. In the end, they invited ‘Nini’ to join them. Nia Long makes her appearance and even covers them with her dress in a fun moment.

It’s good to see that Nia is enjoying herself and spending time with friends. She’s working in the new Peacock miniseries The Best Man: The Final Chapters, which will conclude the stories of prior films that included Long, Lathan, Hall, and De Sousa alongside incredible actors like Terence Crawford and Morris Chestnut.

Not so long ago, Nia called out the Boston Celtics for making a mess out of the Udoka situation, even agreeing with Stephen A. Smith’s criticism of the team. Life looks different for her now, but that’s not stopping her.

Meanwhile, Ime Udoka remains suspended by the Boston Celtics, and even though he’s been linked with a move to other teams, he’s going through his year-long suspension, and nothing points out that will change soon.
