Tyrese Haliburton celebrated his maximum extension with the Indiana Pacers in the most perfect and quirky way possible.

Taking to Twitter, he posted a clip of WWE Hall Of Famer ‘Millon Dollar Man’ Ted Diabase and his iconic evil laugh at his opponents, and considering the fact that guard is now a millionaire himself, the celebration just made so much more sense.

Haliburton inked a massive five-year, $260 million deal with the Pacers on Friday, and the front office will be pleased to have him in their ranks, especially after his prolific 2022-23 season. He averaged 20.7 points and 10.4 assists per game with his 47.6% assist percentage being the highest in the league this past season.

In addition, the 23-year-old has astute playmaking skills and his elite scoring makes him a threat on any given day. Haliburton’s mammoth extension comes on the back of him suiting up for Team USA for the FIBA 2023 World Cup.

All Eyes Will Be On Tyrese Haliburton In The 2023-24 Season

Now that the Indiana Pacers have him for five years for a lucrative contract, the onus will be on Haliburton to help the side go the distance. Last season, they finished 35-47 and missed the postseason for the third year in a row.

The expectations are high now, Earlier, the team president Kevin Pritchard had said the guard was a crucial part of their future.”Ty is our guy,” Phe said in April. “We want Ty here for as long as he wants to be here. I don’t think that’s going to be too complicated.”

Only time will tell if the Pacers and Haliburton can create some magic this season. They do have the ability, no doubts there.
