Giannis Antetokounmpo revealed what was his team’s plan to prevent Team LeBron from getting the victory at the 2020 All-Star Game. The Greek Freak was confident in his chances and picked James Harden, Team LeBron’s worst defender on Sunday night, to finally break their rivals.
In the fourth quarter, Harden shared a lineup that included LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Chris Paul and Kawhi Leonard. Antetokounmpo told reporters after the game that when the game got serious in the final frame, his squad’s strategy was to attack the Houston Rockets star:

If you want to see how that strategy worked for Team Giannis, Team LeBron outscored them 33-22 in the fourth to earn a 157-155 win. Harden, curiously, was the only Team LeBron starter to have a positive plus-minus rating (plus-three) as well. He also proved he can do good in the post, defending Pascal Siakam, Giannis and Joel Embiid.

By contrast, Antetokounmpo was held to zero points in the fourth quarter by Team LeBron; if they planned that, their strategy really paid off.
Still, we enjoyed a terrific game, with both teams increasing their intensity throughout the quarters, giving us one of the most entertained All-Star Games in recent times.
