Jamie Foxx Selects His All-Time NBA Starting Five

There has been plenty of back-and-forths regarding the greatest player of all-time debate. In fact, there have been that many great players in the history of the NBA that everybody on earth could have a different opinion, even though we could all agree on the top-5, at least.

That means things get even more complicated when you try to put together an all-time starting five. What’s to take into consideration? Would you rather choose players that would mesh perfectly together or perhaps just the top-5 more dominant players?

Would you choose players from different eras with different skills and different rules or would you focus just on one of the many periods of NBA basketball? Honestly, there are just too many questions to be answered when trying to do this.

However, that wasn’t the case for world-wide famous actor Jamie Foxx, who recently joined Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes for the All The Smoke podcast. There, Foxx put together his all-time NBA starting five in great fashion, a team consisting of LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, and Shaquille O’Neal.

Foxx didn’t want to take many risks. He played it safe with arguably the top 3 best players in NBA history, the greatest scorer of all time, and the most dominant big man to ever live. That lineup could dominate the rest of the league regardless of the rules or the era.

It’s still pretty crazy to wonder how would that team mesh altogether. They have three alpha dogs in the locker room on Kobe, Jordan, and Shaq; plus Durant who always wants to be the focal point of the offense, and LeBron, who’s used to being a leader.

Whatever the case may be, given their competitive nature, I’m pretty sure that they’d find a way to coexist. Way to go, Jamie!
